Morton’s Broken Escape

Extremely heavy, devastating dark orchestral soundtrack for a brutal escape from an ancient occult prison. Morton is wounded, exhausted and traumatized, fighting his way toward freedom through sheer will. The dominant instrument is a large bowed medieval talharpa (tagelharpa / bowed lyre). It must sound raw, primitive and painfully imperfect: rough bow scraping, string buzz, unstable tuning, uneven intonation, harsh bow pressure, wooden resonance and distorted overtones.
